Available from Invicta Forks & Attachments, the Basil has been designed as a simple yet innovative sweeper that can be quickly and easily fitted to a fork lift truck.
Offering left- and right- hand sweep options for clearing roads and pathways, the attachment incorporates a series of nine replaceable bristle strips that can be swapped around the steel housing to maintain even wear and maximise lifespan.
Suitable locations for the Basil include factories, warehouses, builders' merchants, garden centres, timber merchants and transport yards.
Applications include the clearing of waste from manufacturing areas, assembly lines and goods receiving and despatch sections. The Basil is also used by groundsmen on some golf courses and other sporting venues to brush sand, oil and seed into grass playing surfaces.
The New plastic Drum Bund from Grayling Products has been designed to contain oil spillages and thus control pollution, helping with legal compliance and improving health and safety conditions. Moulded pockets in the base of the bund ensure equal oil dispersal within the unit as well as providing fork access for lift trucks.
Available in a two- or four- drum configuration, the plastic Drum Bund may be specified with either single or double stands so that drums can be laid horizontally to simplify dispensing operations. Manufactured from fully-recyclable medium density polyethylene (MDPE), the new bund also features a galvanized steel grid for extra rigidity.
SIG has purchased Lead Booms from Invicta Forks & Attachments to reduce manual handling risks for personnel in its Roofing Division, SIG Roofing Supplies. Designed to handle heavy coiled or cylindrical products, such as steel coils, concrete pipes and rolls of lead, each boom is designed to meet the customer's particular requirements. SIG Roofing Supplies routinely handles heavy rolls of lead, a potentially hazardous operation when carried out manually.
The Lead Booms from Invicta have enabled rolls of lead to be handled more easily, simplifying the van loading operation. One of the main safety features of the Invicta Lead Boom is its fully-automatic heel pin retention. This eliminates any possibility of the attachment slipping off the trucks forks during handling and transporting. Also, a thumb screw enables the fork truck driver to provide secondary locking by securely clamping the Lead Boom to the truck's forks.
